It was on this particular morning that I took the picture for Monday's Barn Charm (check back a post or two for this photo) when I also spied something that I had been waiting for. I knew that geese often fed in this pasture on Hwy 258 in Isle of Wight county, Va. I just never seemed to have a camera ready when I would see them. But, camera on hand this time... and there they were, feeding among the cattle. With cattle around, of course, there is a fence for Friday Fences.. although this fence is very non-descript, very functional. Hope you enjoy both the fence and the birds!

I get so excited when I see something like a field of geese (which I have never seen yet...ducks in the water, yes, but no geese YET), and I will say "stop, stop, stop" to my Hubby because we always are driving around trying to find something photographic now...it's funny how our lives have changed since starting to participate in these memes...it's exciting now! lol
Looks like those geese would be afraid of those cows, doesn't it? I mean, one wrong move and those geeses goose would be cooked!

I like to see those fields of geese! We once had a field of them right across the road and I had to walk out there among them:)
I love seeing these geese. This is one of those "what's beyond the fence" kind of shots. I don't know that I ever remember seeing geese when we lived there!
