Having a Cup of Tea

I'm linking up at  for Tea Talk Thursday. I think it will be fun so why don't you join us? Just bring along a cup of tea and yourself.

I'm having........ Ginger Peach Tea produced by The Republic of Tea and it has a stamp of approval by The Minister of Leaves. All that hoop-la is enough to draw you in and enchant you. I had to buy a cannister.

I bought a set of dishes in a thrift store not so long ago and I am drinking my tea out of one of the cups. Don't you just love a bargain??? I am fond of pink anyway and have other dishes with pink and gray flowers so these fit right in.

I am feeling.......... a little under the weather. A good day to relax and have a cup or two of tea.

My Mind focused on a bunch of unfinished projects lying around this house. But, I am whittling away at them as best I can. That's all anyone can do. Unless they hire a maid or a personal assistant. Nah.... I'll get around to it myself, eventually.

I'd like to share ...........part of a poem from Rudyard Kipling:

                                                       Teach us delight in simple things,
                                                   And mirth that has no bitter springs;
                                                       Forgiveness free of evil done,
                                                   And Love to all men 'neath the sun!

Have a happy day, one filled with friendships, love and of course, tea.

  1. Beautiful teacup LaTane!
    Enjoy your rest!

  2. A pleasant tea talk! Minister of Leaves? Sounds quite charming to me and I drift around words like Knight of the Garter. I love bargains too, and Rudyard Kipling. Happy Thursday.

  3. Your cup reminds me of a set my husband and I bought at an antique/flea market many many years ago:)

    Blessings to you as you relax with your tea and then, perhaps, tend to a small project here or there. ::smile:: If you want to...or...have another cup of tea:)

  4. Thanks for stopping by my Tea Talk post today! I enjoyed reading your post, too. Your tea cup is beautiful--I love old tea cups--and the tea sounds yummy, too.

    I know what you mean about projects--I have lots of them just waiting for me to do. A little at a time is best. :)
