Alabama trip.... part 2

As I was telling you in the last post, I went to Alabama to see my sister. She'd moved since my last visit and kept telling me about her 'little doll house' and how much she wanted me to see it. I sort of think she wanted to see me, as well.

Her little dog, Susie, enjoys the fenced-in backyard

While Sis sits on her back patio swinging

and enjoying the flowers. (boy, does that girl have a green thumb!!)

She has a pretty view from the front porch as well. Plenty of space for just sitting and whiling the time away.

I just fell in love with the entrance to her community.

The visit with my sis was fabulous. We got in lots of good chatting, got to do all that we wanted to and still had plenty of time for relaxation. That's the best kind of vacation.

  1. She has a lovely home/yard. I love that she has a seating area in the front and back. The neighborhood entrance is very nice. Her little doggie has a great place to exercise. Have a wonderful Sunday.

It does look like a little doll house, with a beautiful yard.

  5. I love everything about this home, the Craftsman style porch, the beautiful flat lawn - easy to mow not a big long sloping one like mine - i just know she's happy there and loved showing it off to you.

Fabulous deer sculptures - those are the best kind, they won't be nibbling on her pretty flowers!!!

Glad you gals had fun together.

    Hugs - Mary

  9. My mother is from Alabama and we visit her family as often as possible. They are spread out all over the state. I was just down south a few weeks ago for the funeral of my Aunt.

I would be interested in what part of alabama this lovely community is located?
