1. Main Street has been very busy lately. I've been wondering where all those dump trucks were going that were passing my house non-stop every day. This is the 3rd week. That's a lot of dirt!! Seems they are building an exit ramp for the supposedly new 460 by-pass.
2. I dreamed last night that my daughter Shirley had 'pied pipered' every cat in the town to come visit my house. The place was overrun by the scampering kitties. I'm glad it was just a dream.

4. The tomatoes are all gone. That makes me so sad. I do have a green one left. Guess I will have me some fried green tomatoes today.
Before you go........
Remember I said that when I got my 100th follower I would have a give-away. Well, it happened... so go Here to sign up! Don't forget to, now!
We've had construction (street work) going on in our town since March. Big trucks and equipment have become part of the scenery.
ReplyDeleteOh, wouldn't you love having so many kitties to love? :-)
I was playing the Fried Green Tomato track a few days ago, then treated my French husband to a plate of them ;-). He was not convinced but I loved them, just like my Mom used to do them.
ReplyDeleteI have 4 kitties in my house! What was I thinking? I love them all, but sometimes I wish I could give away a couple of them.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was already a follower, but just checked...nope, but now I am! Have a great weekend!
Are those trucks making everything dusty? I hate when that happens.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've never had fried green tomatoes.....what's your recipe?
A giveaway? I'm there!
Have an awesome weekend!

Hi Latane......Love the little kitties...although we only have one animal here - a very long haired Persian kitty cat. That cat is the sweetest thing. He even has my husband wrapped around his little paw. They are a lot of company!

The cold weather makes me want to hibernate! My Mom loved fried green tomatos....Just when I have the kitchen cleaned up from supper and have some free time....I'm sleepy! Doesn't it figure? =)
ReplyDeleteIt seems construction is always happening somewhere in that area - hopefully it progresses soon for you! Not much annoys me more than loud, slow, inconvenient trucks. We've got a lot happening down the road from us and I'm ready for it to be over!
ReplyDeleteTell your daughter if she ever needs to "pied-Piper" some cats somewhere, she is welcome to bring them here :)
Fried green tomatoes, YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteI love fried green tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to get up and get going on these chilly mornings. Those kittens are adorable! I didn't realize work had begun on 460.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of green tomatoes out there! I hope they get ripe! The watermelon was picked, but the nights had already been too cold for it, and it was just pale pink. I did harvest a wonderful ripe cantaloupe a week before that though! Pretty amazing! What a funny dream about the cats! :-)
