After leaving Jasper my son drove north toward Athens. We did stop in Cullman to visit the Smith Farms store. It was almost closing time but we did have time to do a wee bit of shopping.
They have old style refrigerated coolers filled with the most delicious looking meats.
and rows and rows of all sorts of home-canned goods.
My son and daughter-in-law are busy with purchases. Me, I'm just busy taking pictures.
and enjoying the unique decorations throughout the store.
Next is a visit at my son's home in Athens.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great meat shop! I would love to go to one here. Jack says there's a butcher shop in a shopping center, but that just isn't as cool!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that the girl in the Wendy's commercials name is Morgan Smith and she is from Cullman? I wonder if some of her family own the shop!
