It didn't seem like I was making a ton of pictures but when I loaded them onto the computer there were 94 of them! My goodness. But, Colonial Williamsburg provides a photo shoot at every turn.
Today I am linking with Good Fences where I will share a very small portion of fence pictures I took yesterday. Gotta save some for another Good Fences day.
At a small little garden, where we stopped to catch our breath, I enjoyed these fences, one a tall utilitarian type and then a wee white one to enclose one side of the garden.
Another view of the tall fence at that same little garden. Very rustic.
A hedge fence enclosing an herb garden.
If you haven't been to Williamburg, I hope you will get the chance to go soon.
I like this!! [and the sundial!!]

ReplyDeleteLove the rustic fence with the whitewash stain from that white shelf, and then the little white picket fence on the side. Howe nice you got out to Williamsburg with Leslie! I bet you DID get a ton of great pictures! These are so nice for Good Fences...Saw your comment on my dramatic skies. I just posted my Good Fences if you want to check back.

ReplyDeleteVery nice fence shots. I like the weathered looking wood. The bench inscription was so neat.
Yes, I like the rustic fence the best but all of your pictures are wonderful. The herb garden is something I would like to have. Fun day for you and Leslie.

ReplyDeleteMy last visit there was a few years back - it's always a wonderful place to spend a day - you're lucky you're so close.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Latane - funny how we snap away and then can't believe how many we took!
Beautiful weather here for the weekend - hope it's the same there - I'm off to decorate with the pumpkins I gathered at the farm yesterday.
Happy day - Mary
