Some Williamsburg Fences

Leslie invited me for a day out at Williamsburg. It was the perfect day... not too hot, sunny with a breeze blowing. We walked and walked and walked some more. Finally, I said, 'We can't see it all so I think we should save some of it for another day'. This ole gal had about had it!!

It didn't seem like I was making a ton of pictures but when I loaded them onto the computer there were 94 of them! My goodness. But, Colonial Williamsburg provides a photo shoot at every turn.

Today I am linking with Good Fences  where I will share a very small portion of fence pictures I took yesterday. Gotta save some for another Good Fences day.

At a small little garden, where we stopped to catch our breath, I enjoyed these fences, one a tall utilitarian type and then a wee white one to enclose one side of the garden.

Another view of the tall fence at that same little garden. Very rustic.

A hedge fence enclosing an herb garden.

If you haven't been to Williamburg, I hope you will get the chance to go soon.

Very nice fence shots. I like the weathered looking wood. The bench inscription was so neat.

  12. My last visit there was a few years back - it's always a wonderful place to spend a day - you're lucky you're so close.

Great pics Latane - funny how we snap away and then can't believe how many we took!

Beautiful weather here for the weekend - hope it's the same there - I'm off to decorate with the pumpkins I gathered at the farm yesterday.

    Happy day - Mary
