I think I will share with you five of my favorite things this morning. I'd love it if you'd tell me your favorite things. That would be fun to read. Joining in with Willy Nilly Friday, and Five On Friday
1. Classical Music
On another note: In an effort to be healthier I have been eating more healthy foods. And, in that effort, I decided that the best way to hold myself accountable was to post my journey of being healthier in a blog. So.... ta da.... new blog.
If you are interested in being the best you can be, come along on this journey with me. You will find me at http://healthylatane.blogspot.com. Or just click on A Healthy Me on my blog list on the sidebar. Lots of good stuff gonna be on there., You don't want to miss it.
1. Classical Music
2. Impressionist Art
3. Good Books
some of my favorites are: "Gone With The Wind", "Without Reservations", "An Invisible Thread" and "Red Acres"
4. Paris
My husband watching out our hotel window at a Paris street musician
5. Michael Buble
I love his music. And, my prayers are for his little son who is suffering from cancer.

Oh to be in Paris... Thank you for the nice view out your window! I will also offer prayers for Michael Buble and his son. Now to pop on over to see your new blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to check out your new blog!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can stop by:

Colletta
Until two days ago i did not know "Ode to Joy" was theme song for the European Union. (it was on the news - and surprised me . . . )
ReplyDeleteFive lovely favourite things indeed! Hope that your new blog and regime work well for you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyable list of things. I like some Classical Music, The Art is pretty but perhaps not my favorite style, GWTW is one of my all time favorite books. Wish I could visit Paris. Michael Buble does do nice music (again not my favorite) but I like him.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the first two, reading isn't enjoyable for me, I never been to Paris and I don't know Michael Buble.
ReplyDeleteVery sad about Michael Bublé's son. Great to see your favourites.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Five on Friday! Great view from Paris hotel room
ReplyDeletea fun 4 - sorry to hear about michael's son, i did not know. i too love his music!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your 5...I do enjoy reading. Have too many good books to name. There are a few I have the physical book, but I also got them on my kindle, too. My husband really like Michael Buble...he is okay to me.
ReplyDeleteThose are all good things.
ReplyDeleteI love the impressionists and of course have been many times in Brussels, it's not so far from Paris.
ReplyDeleteA lovely 5 Latane!
ReplyDeleteHad I listed five of my favorite things, it would have matched yours exactly, except for the books other than Gone with the Wind. Now that I know we think alike, I shall put the others on my reading list.
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on Gattina's post, and again, I couldn't agree with you more. Even this latest hoopla over visitors from Muslim countries has a purpose. At last Saudi Arabia is going to help do something about the refugees. I'm sure other countries will follow suit. And now the vetting system in the US will finally take shape.
I believe I've made a mistake. I ordered Without Reservation from Mobius and it's about how an Indian tribe built a casino. Searching Amazon, I find several books with the same title. Please post the authors for the books you mentioned except Margaret Mitchell - surely there can't be another Gone with the Wind. Thanks.
DeleteWell I loved the Paris picture. I'm craving culture and sunshine right now! I'm going to click on your blog because yes I want to be healthier. I'm tired of being the biggest person I've ever been in my life!
ReplyDeleteCindy
The two books I ordered through Mobius arrived and I'm reading both. I love Redacres and like I mentioned, I ordered Without Reservation (no s) in error, but I'm loving it also. My friend and I used to call this a "good mistake". I'll have to figure out which is the Without Reservations you read, as there are two or more others with that title. I suspect it's the one where a lady is traveling alone. Anyway, thanks for the tip. Like I said, we love the same things, so I knew the books would be ones I wanted to read.
