I am going to highlight some more of my visit to the Norfolk, Va. Botanical Gardens in this weeks Friday memes. To see more of this amazing exhibit (Lantern Asia) click HERE. All structures are made of wire with silk fabric stretched over it with some other eco-friendly elements added.

2. Such colorful butterflies and flowers.
3. Mt. Fuji
4. Bugs and toadstools. They make me smile.
5. Not sure what this is!! But, it was huge, just look at the tree behind it to get an idea of it's size.
And, so, those are five more of the fabulous sculptures and displays that were at the Gardens for 2 months. There is more to come.
For the Today's Flowers meme... my flowers today are not real!!
But, beautiful flowers nonetheless.

ReplyDeleteThe little bees make me smile, as well---those contagious little grins amongst the flowers. And I've seen several depictions of that huge white Merlion lately, even on the Antiques Roadshow.

ReplyDeleteFabulous shots of these amazing "sculptures!' It was a wonderful display and I am so happy they chose the Norfolk Botanical Gardens for the exhibit and you got a chance to see it. Looks like the kids are so happy!
