We survived the storm... Hurricane Matthew decided to turn away from us and we are thankful. Sad for those to whom the storm has and is, causing so much trouble.
Have you ever seen a dove cote? This one sits on the ground at Shirley Plantation and used to house hundreds of doves. I just can't imagine how it would be to see doves all over the place. But, they are gone now. Thought Tom from Treasures might like to see this and hope you enjoyed it as well.

ReplyDeleteWe toured Shirley Plantation a few years ago when we visited Williamsburg and really enjoyed it.
