My Five On Friday

It's a cloudy Friday where I am but thank God we are going to miss Hurricane Matthew. It's time for my Willy Nilly Friday, Five On Friday, and My Town Shootout

1. As I said Matthew is going to turn away from the coast before it gets to us here in Virginia. But, my heart breaks for those people in the Carribbean and the southern part of the U. S.
Such devastation! So many lives lost!

2. I really like a meme I discovered called My Town Shootout but it has a theme every week so I often don't have the opportunity to get out and make pictures to correspond with that week's theme. However, this week I have a picture I took some time past that will be perfect. I took this one from my balcony.

3. This week I have had a crick in my neck that has just about immobilized me. But, I am happy to state that the crick has just about disappeared now. I can at least turn my head.

4. Is everyone as tired as I am of the election mess on tv? Counting down the days to Voting Day!!

5. It's yard work day here at the apartments. What noise!! But, how grateful I am to have it done and I don't have to worry about it.

You all have a safe weekend, you hear!!

  2. Matthew is horrible. So sad. I turn off the tv and radio whenever politics is on ... I've made up my mind and am tired of the whole deal. Take care of your neck! Beautiful sky! Happy Friday!

  6. Glad you're out of the path of Matthew and that the crick in your neck is getting better. Those can be very painful!

  8. Glad your neck is better. Ouch. Beautiful clouds. Thinking and praying for the Southeast coast of the US and for the folk in Haiti.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  9. I am also tired of this election banter. I will be glad when it is over!

  10. My 21 year old son watched the first debate and said that instead of being worried about the economy, everyone should be concerned about the lack of respect, and courtesy, and kindness. I do believe he is right. Our priorities are all screwed up, that's for sure. Running for president is not a showdown. Haiti never fully recovered from the earthquake years ago and now they are hit with the hurricane. Very sad for a country that has so little. Take care, Tammy

  11. I was going to whine to my husband about how it will rain on Saturday, but then I realized how lucky we are not to be in the hurricane.

  12. Your cloud photo is so pretty. I did some painting earlier today and my neck is so stiff I can hardly turn my head. I'm happy that you are feeling better. Have a blessed Sunday.
