Five Reflections

I never paid much attention to REFLECTIONS before I ran across a meme featuring that very thing. Isn't it funny how blogging has made us so much more aware of our surroundings? That's one thing I love about it.

So for today I am linking to Willy Nilly FridayFive On Friday to show you five interesting reflections I have photographed just lately.

1. The reflection of the heron that visits my nearby pond often is almost a mirror image of itself.

2. I thought it interesting that the wave runners have almost no reflection but the colorful sail does.

3. The couple in this statue seem to be looking into the water to maybe see their reflection.
4. I love the ripples in the reflection of the sail on this boat.

5. A black bird of some sort standing in shallow water

And, so you have five reflections I have captured with my camera. I must look for more. It's fascinating.

  19. I. too, have photographed many reflections such as yours. I enjoy finding them in buildings in a city. It's interesting to see how one building reflects in the windows of another. And today, with so many buildings appearing to be mostly glass, it is not too difficult to find beautiful - and interesting - reflections in the city. Even reflections of the sky in building windows can be really pretty!

  22. fantastic photos. I think the colourful sail has a better reflection because it has more character than the dull waverunners!
