Five Books in Five Categories

Once upon a time I discovered Pinterest. And, I hit it hot and heavy for a brief period of time. I still save things occasionally but mostly I used my boards to refer back to when I need help with something or to just sit and enjoy the pretty pictures.

For Willy Nilly Friday Five and Five On Friday  I am selecting five books, each from different reading categories.

BOARD # 1... Books I Have Read (There are 428 pins here)

1. Bios like "American Caesar" about Douglas McArthur

2. History like "1776" by David McCullough

3. Self Help like "Life Code" by Dr. Phil McGraw

4. Humor like this one by Erma Bombeck

5. Spiritual like "Draw The Circle" by Batterson

What do you read?

  2. A nice Five post! I have read 1776 but not the others! American Caesar I bet is fascinating.

  3. I enjoy biographies and history, too, but my favorite books are murder mysteries. I discovered Agatha Christie back in the 70s, and have been reading mysteries ever since.
Right now I am reading 'Sycamore Row' by John Grisham for our book club meeting in August.

  4. I am always up for a good biography. Lately though, I've been on a bit of a James Rollins kick. I guess you'd call his books a mix of historical fiction, suspense thriller, and mystery.

  5. I'm reading two books about the Sonoma Valley in California where I grew up. And a book called Business Boutique about the issues of starting your own business.

  6. I haven't read any of those books, I like Anne Tyler at the moment.

  7. I haven't read any of your book titles, sorry. As it's summer I felt like reading Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series of book again. Then I plan to read Alexander McCall Smith series - Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency. Cathy x
