When I was a youngster my Grandpa had pigs on his farm. When Michael's Scribble Picnic was due today and his theme was 'curly', I naturally thought of my Pa's pigs, except his were much dirtier. Maybe I should have made mine all muddy. It would have looked more natural.
and my attempt at a curly haired little girl. I never seem to get the proportions correct. Need more practice I guess.
We both drew a pig! It was the first thing I though of, although not from personal experience with them, more from reading Charlotte's Web several times.
ReplyDeleteWonderful curly pieces latane
ReplyDeleteWhat fun drawings, Mom! That pig is so cute. Did anyone draw a picture of the Three Stooges guy? :-)
ReplyDeletei think you are much too critical of your artwork...looks great!

both of your drawings are sweet. Fun that you drew from your memories.
ReplyDelete. . . . . . that curly-tailed piglet (he looks young and so clean and cute) is adorable Latane.
ReplyDeleteThe girl with curls (lucky thing - my hair is dead straight!) is posed in an interesting way, like it very much. Cute shoes too!
Your pig reminds me of a piggy-bank from my childhood!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
The piggie is so cute and the girl looks jsut fine! Well done, Lantane. People are hard by the way...to draw that is! I am still practicing!
ReplyDeleteBoth look great, Latane, but I must admit that I'm partial to pigs...love them!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's so nice to see the pretty pink skin of the pig and it's wonderful curly tail. Your curly-headed girl is great - you know we're all different the way we're built.
ReplyDeleteThese are great. And I like pink pigs - the real ones are really "piggy". This is cute. And the girl is wonderful.
