I watch wild life.
I sit and meditate
write in my journal and read
watch the hummingbirds

ReplyDeleteBooks are my getaway! I just finished reading "Corduroy Mansions" by Alexander McCall Smith. There are a lot of characters, and the plot twists and turns, but I am hoping reading books (and doing crossword puzzles) will help keep my brain cells alive and in good working order.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you really enjoy your little balcony Latane. When we lived in VA, the covered front porch was our getaway as we could sit out there and watch a rainstorm or just read or watch the world go by in our quiet neighborhood. Here in our Nashua, NH apt, we have what's called a "sun room" but it's within the building and we have a futon there that I relax on when reading.
