So many memories of these already-old-when-I-was-a-child buildings on family "places" around our area. I can feel that Delta dust and heat, and smell the dry dusty cornhusk scent of those old silos standing for decades. Many, many a happy day and hour of hide-and-seek and egg gathering and playing our own Little House On the Prairie when we got all our scenes from books.
I think my favourite has to be the third barn and silo. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteThat third photo has such a picture, perfect barn!
ReplyDeleteGreat barns! The third one is my favorite of the bunch!

ReplyDelete...silos are favorites of mine too, but hey are becoming a thing of the past. Just like many of us! Keep driving by some more barns and stop back.
ReplyDeleteAwesome barns! We've seen a few on this trip that I will be sharing soon, too.
