This one is one of the first ones I did in watercolor after not doing any art for many, many years. As you can see, I was pretty rusty.
A few months later, I did another one. A good deal of improvement but still learning my craft. The hummingbirds have all flown south for the winter. I will be happy to see them again in the spring.
wonderful page, very nice flower and bird!

I love hummingbirds! These are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteCan't see any 'rusty' here, lovely pieces!
ReplyDeleteLovely Hummingbirds. In recent years a few Hummingbirds are choosing to stay here all winter. I try to take in my feeder for night and put it out in the morning so the solution doesn't freeze. Cannot see how such a small thing can survive freezing weather.
ReplyDeletethese are both beautiful. I love the hummingbirds too. Have not seen one since Sept. maybe 18th? but I still have my feeders out in hopes to catch a few late ones:) Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteLovely, delicate art.
