Barns On Virginia's Eastern Shore

Guess what, Tom!! Just when the supply of barn pictures got depleted, my daughter and I took off for the Virginia Eastern Shore. Lots of farm land there... and I got three barn pictures. I'll share two today. Gonna save one for later!

  1. Two very different barns. the first one is a pretty scene, but the second one looks like it still has an every day working life around it.
    Have a great day!

  2. ...thanks Latane, it's nice to see that you're getting out now that you aren't living in a snow globe. The red one is my favorite, surprise! Thanks for stopping by, please come again.

  4. Wonderful barns, Mom! Ah...the Eastern Shore! Russell's ancestral lands! :-) Where Paulette and her husband had a church for thirteen years and still owns land there, and when she would talk about it, she would always forget we knew the area well, and would tell us like we'd never been there. :-) Such a special place. Glad you went...I know you have good reason now. :-)

  5. Hi Latane,I checked out your barn photos to see if I could recognize them from our time on the VA eastern shore, but could not. There are quite a few in the area :-( Hope you had a nice visit and yes it is a bummer that we're not living there any longer and that you may be visiting more often. Of course, you could always visit Nashua, NH, where we live now!
