Today is Thankful Thursday.
I have to say that in some sense I am thankful that I do not live in the year 1915. However, times were so much more simple then and people had respect for one another and they helped their neighbor. I wish we had more of that today.
Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Hello, I am thankful I did not live during those times. Things were a lot cheaper back then though. Sugar 4 cents a pound, wow!

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting list! The average wage was .22 an hour.
ReplyDeleteThat was a different time, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow! It's hard to imagine these things as they were! Things started changing rapidly with the aftermath of WWI I think and then everything must've started tripling and quadrupling in speed of change after that! Interesting post!
