My, my.... what excitement!
A strange bird call that went on and on. A mad dash for the camera and then snapping picture after picture.
It's the Baby... all grown up .. being told by Mama to "get out of the nest and go fend for yourself".
My camera but my daughter was taking the pictures...
Where is it? Oh, see, right there in the middle of the picture, a tiny spot of gray. It's a bird, a large bird. Wonder what it is....
Ah, zoomed now ... at least partway. A hawk, maybe? Not sure at this point.
It's turning it's head... oh yes, the yellow eyes, the curved beak, the wide wingspan. Can't be but one kind of bird like that.
An osprey, fledging one, out on his own... So exciting to see him so up close and personal.

WE want our babies to grow and get out into the world on their own......But oh sometimes, I want to cry, "come back girls, come back home" . My daughters grew and are mothers and two are grandmothers, they are all wonderful people.... oh how I miss their little girl days. But hey who want to feed a big old bird like that...get out ! LOL. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
