Red Flowers - White Flowers

I don't care what color a flower is, nor what shape or even what smell, I just love flowers!!!
I am linking with Rednesday at It's A Very Cherry World and White Wednesday at Faded Charm so that's a perfect time to share some of the red and white flowers that make me happy.

Although poinsettas are out of season right now I always have one or more in my home at Christmas.

Right after Christmas my red camellia really struts it's stuff

My Mother-in-law had a red rose bush (she died over 60 years ago) and I still have a bush from cuttings from the original rose.

The white (and pink edged) cotton boll flower covers the fields around our home. Thanks, Marie from
It's a Colorful World for the pretty photo!! You ought to go over to her site and look at the beautiful things she has on there.

I think daisies are my favorite flower.

But, maybe gardenias are. They sure do smell good.

There's nothing more dainty and beautiful in the wild as the Queen Anne's Lace.

In 2000 my husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We received white roses all tied up with a gold ribbon. Perfect

  5. Hi, Latane...

I love flowers, too..I say that they are kisses from God. You have some beautiful flowers. How remarkably wonderful that you have flowers from your mother-in-law's bush for so many years. A beautiful reminder.

Thank you for visiting me, and for you sweet comment.

    Blessings,
    Marianne

  6. Your flowers are all lovely but don't think you can beat the rose from MIL.
How special. You're right about the gardenia though.

  8. Your camellia is...or was breathtaking! I have a snowball bush taken from my Mom's home over 30 some years ago. Its nice to have. A lot of my herbs have made it through the winter and the 'Dusty Miller ' has resurrected itself....and has taken over the flower bed. Its going to get a transplant here soon. My hubby has been doing a lot of outside mowing and weed-wacking while I catch up on the ironing etc. Warm wishes for a Blessed Easter...oh glorious day, when we shall be all together in glory!
