Interesting Barn on Colonial Parkway

I can't take credit for my entry in Barn Charm today. Well, maybe a little.

My dau. Shirley often is driving when I am snapping photos of barns. In fact, sometimes we just strike out for nowhere in particular looking for barns.  It must have caught on.... she spied this beauty on the Colonial Parkway nr. Jamestown, Va. while she and her husband were on their way to Busch Gardens. 'Mom needs this' she says and grabs her camera. Guess I got her trained right.

  4. Now aren't those 3 crosses on the barn? How interesting a way to tell the world whats important! Its eyecatching....and the upkeep looks fabulous. We see sooo many barns in states of decay around here. I can't imagine how costly it would be to even buy paint for a ...barn...!!!
