A Quartet of Southampton Barns

It seems that I haven't done a barn charm in a little while. I've missed seeing all those fascinating barns on the meme. You really should go Here if you like barns, too.

I think I will just link up to Mosaic Monday , too, while I am at it. Check them out also.

Today I am featuring some barns I found in Southampton County, Virginia.

  3. Barns are one of my favorite things to photograph, but they are fast disappearing from the countryside.

  4. I love the old barns....and the new! Guess because I grew up on a farm. Great pictures, Latane. They may be getting old but it looks like they have good roofs on them. They will have a few more years left. Thank you and have a very nice week.

She is trying to find some help my step dad isn't treating her to well right now. She knows its not him but it is still hard. Glad to see that you have moved on and have found the wonderful memories of your time with your hubby.

  14. My favorite is the white-washed looking one on the upper right and the older one lower right. A mosaic is a good way to highlight the variety. And you've reminded me that I've been wanting to learn how to do these photo mosaics for a long time. Hard?
