Iron Fences

I've found a few wire fences on some trips I've made.  This first one surrounds Rye Playland in Rye, New York. Remember the movie 'Big' where Tom Hanks is a grown man and turns into a little kid and he ends up at an amusement park.... well, this is where that part of the movie was filmed. It's a fun place to go.

This next one was also shot in Rye. The entrance to a beautiful home. From the looks of things I think I'd call that an estate!

An iron fence encloses a yard in Franklin, Va.

A decorative low fence in front of the casino at Monte Carlo.

Is anyone else having problems uploading pictures straight from your computer? I had to go through Picasa to get these shots. Just wondering if it was my computer acting up or Blogger.

If you enjoy fences and want to see more I have linked this post to FRIDAY FENCES. You can go there to see a lot of great fences from just everywhere! Last weeks fences post can be found here.

Have a great day

  4. HI Latane, Great pictures of the iron fences...

I haven't had any trouble uploading from my computer. I never have to go through Picasa... Hope Blogger isn't going to start making us do that.

    Have a great weekend.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  6. You found some great iron fences!
Estate would be the word I'd use if I had a gate like that. :)
I haven't had any problems lately. You never know with blogger though. Hope it works itself out.
