Today I see....
79 candles on my cake
I can not believe it!! Go figure. I thought I was maybe 59.... well, perhaps 69.... but the BIG 79. Shoot, how did that happen!!
I guess time flies when you are having fun.
As for me ... yesterday I had a sweet birthday with my gentleman friend, Les.
Today I am headed to Nags Head for an overnighter with Daughter Shirley. Wasn't she sweet to invite me to get away for a couple days?
Sure, it's cold..... so no skinny dipping. I promise.
But, there's something about the ocean that just takes you away from yourself and everything else. WOW.... here I come!!

Hi Latane, I've loved your blog in silence for a little while now. Stopped by and noticed that you had a birthday... and didn't want to miss out wishing one of my favorite bloggers a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
