Coming down ....
We finally got a good snowfall. I stayed inside, however, I managed to enjoy it to the fullest. And, even make pictures from the cozy comfort of my home.
A cardinal seeking shelter in my gardenia bush |
Some THING came up my front steps. Maybe for a visit. |
Snow |
Birds feeding in the falling snow |
I opened the front door just enough to scoop up enough snow to make snow cream |
Oh, how fantastic! Snow! and snow cream??? Can you really eat it? Your pictures are elegant...such sweet cardinals! I wonder if that was a deer coming up to your door....

ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow, Latane. Wish we'd get one of those. The snow cream looks delicious. Reminds me of my childhood...
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the Cardinal.. Their red color is so pretty in the white snow.
Hugs,

What a beautiful post! The snow and the cardnals are so pretty! We dont get too much snow here in Texas, but when we do, I love to just watch it fall from the window. One year, we got a tremendous amount of snow and I made ice cream for my children. I miss that!
ReplyDeleteAll pretty, but the picture of the cardinals is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi, Latane, not sure why you can't get through on my e-mail. Did you try the aol account?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have a busy couple of weeks, but after next week, I'll get in touch with you and we'll plan our get-together!
Your pictures are so beautiful!!! No snow here.... sandals and short sleeved shirts. I love looking and dreaming of a winter wonderland!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are so bright and cheerful! of course, I can't help it, but I love the cardinals. The first pic is my favorite. My mother used to make us snow cream. It's just the ingredients that you show? Oh, it was such a treat......and very delicious.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a very nice weekend, Latane.
Blessings,
Susannah
