5 Random Thoughts

This has been a week for a lot of thoughts! Random, yes. But, some I can not repeat here!!

1. Had to replace the air conditioner compressor in my car!  That sucked!

2. Had more overflow with my dishwasher. That sucked, too.

3. Had a nice quiet evening in daughter's backyard watching my great-grandson catch lightning bugs.

4. Spent 2 days cleaning out my sewing/quilting room. Now, that was a good thing.

5. And my random thought from the past.  Here I am dancing with my sweet hubby in 1999.
By 2001 he was diagnosed with Alzheimers so thoughts of times like this are joy to my heart.

  1. That is a sweet photo. Too bad about the car repair. We have had to repair two cars this summer. YUCK!

  2. We had to get a new fridge so I feel your pain. Your picture and words on your husband remind me of how important it is to be good to our loved ones while we can. The only thing certain about this life is that it's uncertain.

  3. I am sorry about that auto bill, that is a giant budget suck. Sometimes we don't get to choose what we have to spend our money on darn it. Sweet photo of you and your sweetie...I have many of the same!!

  6. I'm glad you have precious memories of good times with your husband. You both look so happy in that photo.

Sorry about that AC compressor. I had to have mine replaced last year, so I know it takes a bite out of the budget!

I need to do some organizing and cleaning out myself!

  13. Sorry about your car AC and your dishwasher...Things like that do seem to happen in 'bunches' don't they???? Hard on the nerves for sure--and the pocketbook....

Great photo of you and hubby. I'm sure it was very difficult seeing a loved one with Alzheimer's. There's just nothing worse in my opinion.

    God Bless.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  15. We're waiting to be able to replace the a/c in our house. Not really looking forward to the work that has to be done, but a/c will be nice again. I still have a plywood floor in the kitchen from a dishwasher overflow. One day, we should have all this work behind us and have fun. Enjoyed your flash from the past dance. :)
