Solitude
Rain and more rain. Sick for days. That leads to solitude.
Now, don't get me wrong.... I do love my time by myself but this is ridiculous. I'm getting some major cabin fever so I was antsy this morning, wondering what to do with myself when 'what to my wondering eyes should appear' my cell phone rings. Boy, with that last sentence you can tell I am going a bit crazy.
I have been invited next door to my daughters for breakfast. I like that idea.
When I have eaten and visited then I will come back home and indulge myself in some more solitude.
It's a good thing..... once in awhile.
Have a Happy Week

I'm sorry you're still feeling under the weather. Maybe getting out for breakfast will be the start of better days for you. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to be next door to your daughter, and love the connection just when your needed it :-) Hope you are feeling better real sooooon!
ReplyDeleteI love my solitude also but you can always have too much of a good thing! God always knows our needs...isn't it wonderful?! Hope you are feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon, like, immediately! Like you, I always feel a bit behind in what I'd expect of myself this time of year. I should have those international packages in the mail already, so I'm hoping for tomorrow. We'll get it all done; we live in hope and faith!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out for breakfast and didn't have to go far!
ReplyDeleteThere sure is a balance, isn't there! Hope that you are feeling better very soon.
ReplyDeleteSending up prayers for your health. I can just imagine what a treat it was to get that breakfast and visit with your daughter! Guess she's really busy with all the holiday baking. Hope you feel better soon.
