Athens, Alabama Farmers Market

Away we go....

It's Saturday morning and time for the Athens Farmers Market. The place is buzzing with activity.

There is so much to choose from...
Corn, peppers and beans.

More beans, some golden squash and red ripe tomatoes.

This misspelled sign served it's purpose! It surely caught my eye. Great looking okra and beans.

Michael and Susan try out the goat cheese.

Besides the goat cheese Humble Heart Farms has iced coffee, lemonade and cookies. Humble Heart Farms is located in Elkmont, Alabama and has a large herd of goats.
this photo came from Humble Heart Farms website.

Arms loaded with packages of good things to eat, we head back to the car where Peanut has been waiting rather impatiently.
