Is it Tuesday already?
My goodness, how time flies when you are having fun. It's time for Rubbish Tuesday again. And, I have a goodie.
I have no history of this carriage/buggy, whatever it is. And, I have no idea where the shop owner got it. I guess I could stop in and ask, now, couldn't I? But, I haven't and I probably won't.
On another note, did you know that sweet potatoes and yams have more beta-carotene and vitamin C than carrots. They also have more protein than wheat and rice and more fiber than oat bran. And, we were just making sweet potato casserole for Sunday dinners or Thanksgiving. I am going into my kitchen right this minute and eat me some sweet potatoes!! You can't classify sweet potatoes as 'rubbish' but if we eat enough of them, we are going to get to a ripe old age and then I guess we could be called 'rubbish' ourselves!! How about that.

I've been called 'old hag', dirty ol' lady', 'elderly' and 'senior'....but never rubbish. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the buggy...looks to be Amish?
Nice find! I didn't know that about sweet potatoes, but I like them.
ReplyDeleteYes, sweet potatoes! Nice find of the buggy!
ReplyDeleteThat buggy reminds me of a book I'm reading right now. The main character owns and Amish shop and has a buggy on display in front of her shop.
ReplyDeleteI love sweet potatoes and have been eating a lot of sweet potato fries.
Well, your post made me laugh!!! Someday I feel I am getting closer and closer to rubbish!!!!! I love the old Amish buggy anything buggy, wagons, sleighs...oh, I love it all . I think because Dad had all of that before he passed away and so did my grandfather.
ReplyDeleteI asked Jim what he though about growing sweet potatoes or yams in the garden next year....and I am pretty sure we are going to. We eat them more than white potatoes!
