Have any of you run across the Good Random Fun meme? Well, it does look like fun.
I am going to join in this morning. Why don't you join me?
1. I have been a very GOOD little girl this year so I am hoping Santa is very GOOD to me come
Christmas morning!!
2. I wonder whatever happened to a friend I had in Bainbridge, Maryland back in the early 1960s?
Isn't it odd that we lose touch with people we enjoy. They are in our lives for a little while and
then they move on.... or we do.
3. I had a FUN Thanksgiving!! It started out with our potluck here at the apartments. The staff
furnished the turkey and dressing.
Then a few days later the church we attend had a big Thanksgiving feast. Of course, turkey and dressing was the main course.
On the day before the big Turkey Day we met at my daughters and again we had turkey, ham and all the trimmings.
So, on the actual Thanksgiving Day we were invited out to a restaurant for a late dinner. I was so sick and tired of turkey by that time, I ordered crab cakes!
It all was great fun.
Let's do it again next year.
A dairy farmer had this mural painted on the side of his barn in Virginia.
wow, girlfriend....do you gobble now instead of talk...hahaaa....you were blessed to share the holidays with so many people.
ReplyDeleteDid you get my check for the book ?

ReplyDeleteLovely mural! I don't miss all the fuss for Thanksgiving. I just learned to be thankful every day :)
ReplyDeleteThe dairy farmer not only honored his cows with the mural, he also has them eating real shrubs. Excellent. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
