Northeastern fences

Today is Fence Day over at Run-around ranch. If you find fences fascinating I suggest you click on the link and view a lot of great ones. The ones I am posting today were all taken in the Rye, NY and Greenwich, Ct. area.

    I love stone fences from that part of the country. I would love to live behind that lovely iron gate. :)

    Very nice grouping of different fences. The snowy shots are pretty but I'm so glad we don't have snow like that here.
    Loved that Iron gate and the fancy house behind it.

    Each scene is unique and each one of them are so pretty. My favorite...the rock fence with snow! I enjoyed viewing them all.

    Though I've never seen a real one, I DO love a stone fence!! (Especially the one Andy stashes the money for Red behind in Shawshank Redemption).

    And who WOULDN'T fall in love with a house with TURRETS!?

    very pretty captures and especially my favorite - the stone fence, I love stone around flowers , trees etc. Snakes around here love to hide under them too.
