My Friday Five

TGIF.....

I can't believe another week has gone by and it has been a busy one . Lots to share today on Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday and Random 5 Friday .  Come along with me and let's do some catching up.

1. It's SPRING... you all. I am loving it.

2. I went clothes shopping Wednesday. Hadn't done that in soooo long!! Can't wait to go somewhere so I can wear something new. Or.... I could just wear something new around the house. You with me there?

3. What's with the weather? 80 one day, 40 the next. Crazy stuff going on.

4. Lunch out with my daughter was fun. Remember I had been in search of a great chicken salad sandwich and couldn't find one?  Well, I got it... just look.

5. How can a 4 year old beat the stuffings out of me playing a game on Kindle?
Easy, that's how.

                                                                                                Have a great weekend...

  14. I was stunned when I clicked on you and got a Google+ page! Ah...the new computer! :-) I was forced to use Google as my search engine default because of the new printer/scanner and I always use Foxfire. It's annoying when they try to control you, isn't it!? Do I have the same kind of opening page as you as well....I've often wondered.

    1. Marie, I got on Google+ a good while ago but with the old computer it got to where I could not do one single thing on there, post a comment, post a picture...nothing.... so I just quit. But, I am back on with the new computer and enjoying connecting with a lot of bloggers that I also see on blogs (or might miss in some circumstances). I don't feel Google is trying to control me, they just had a lot going on and it makes it easier to have one place to connect to everything. I use Google Chrome as my search engine too. I am not sure what you mean by same opening page.... where, what do you mean? One thing with the new computer, I can't email anyone from a blog of theirs. Maybe Bloggers fault, not my computer. So I am starting to use the reply option on comments to say something to others. But, I wonder if they get notified I've replied or do they have to check back. I don't know.

  17. Happy Spring to you! When we are retired it is often difficult to know where to wear our new clothes if one is not going on holiday or cruise. If the clothes aren't extra fancy dress up and go to town or go to a nice cafe.

  18. Kids are so adept with digital times. Wish the days would be just a bit warmer so I want to be outside. That's a fine-looking sandwich. I like Chick-fil-A's chicken salad sandwich. New clothes give one a good feeling, why not enjoy them.

  19. Happy Spring to you Latane.
Always fun to have some new clothes for the warmer weather even if they are just to wear at home. Although I suspect you will find places to go in your new duds.
I love a good chicken salad sandwich too. So often they are kind of ordinary at the restaurants. Yours looks like it might have cranberries in it?? I think some fruit and a few pecans take it up a notch. Of course the croissant is a bonus too.
