It has been a long while since I did a "Growing Old Gracefully" post. Too busy just growing old, I guess!!
I ran across this graphic recently and loved it.
So, today I want to encourage you to do your best dancing in your 'older' years. It may not be on a crowded dance floor. It could be just you, all by yourself, twirling around your living room, your favorite music playing
BUT....DANCE!
It's good for the body and it's good for the soul.
Here are some of my dance moves in my later years and I guarantee not a single one of them got me arrested. Now, maybe those in my living room would!! But, thank the good Lord, noone caught me at it. Hehe
I hope to hear about your dancing adventures, Go ahead.... do it.

I love it! You are too precious!
ReplyDeleteVery nice advice. Think I'll get my groove on a little later today....after I warm up the ole muscles a little more?
ReplyDeleteI notice you have to look way up to see the last grandson shown. =D A lovely gathering of photos and events, Latane!
ReplyDeleteGreat advice! It's super that your grandsons like dancing with you. :)
ReplyDeleteYour dancing photos brought a smile to my face today.
ReplyDeleteWe've just returned from a weekend wedding where I had my first dance with my grandson (he's 2). I would be thrilled to still be dancing with him when he is the ages of your grandsons. How fun!
I loved seeing your photos, Latane! I used to love to dance, but ole Twinkle Toes doesn't like to, so I seldom get to dance. I just content myself with listening to some good music and dancing by myself! Shhh...don't tell anyone. :)
ReplyDeleteGREAT photos of such good memories!!! I can't dance a bit because I have absolutely NO sense of rhythm! I do good yoga poses, though!
ReplyDeleteI remember dancing with my mum in the kitchen when I was a little girl. Now, my grown daughters remember dancing with me in the kitchen.
ReplyDeletethanks for making my heart smile, bless you.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Keep dancing!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely looks as if you like a good bop! xx
ReplyDeleteCute graphic. What wonderful dance partners you have. I prefer to do my dancing where no one is watching! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Sweet photos, especially the ones of you dancing with your grandsons.
ReplyDeleteAnd your hubby?
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos! I hope I'll live long enough to danc eat my grandson's wedding one day in the future.
ReplyDeleteYes, dancing is the best. My daughter owns a dance studio so dancing has always been a part of my life. My sweetie and I loved to dance. I need to go turn on the music and dance!!
