Winter is coming. I just know it. The weather has been incredible until now but it can't last. That's for certain. Do I want the cold? NO. So, I need to head to town today and do some Christmas shopping while it's not so nasty outside. Some people love to shop. Me, not so much. But, Santa's gotta have some help this year. I always help Santa out.
This picture was taken on a shopping excursion with two of my daughters. I finally just let them do their thing. And, I waited, and waited and waited.

They eventually bought everything they could or wanted or whatever! And, then we headed home. Yep, I need to get off here and go shopping. Or I will end up looking like this again! Heavens!
I don't like shopping either. Esp in a mall!
ReplyDeleteI'm done with shopping. Most of the purchases were made off the internet. Etsy was a good spot to purchase especially since I was supporting USA crafts people.
ReplyDeleteOur whole family knows My Shopping Gene Got Left Out At Birth, and they don't bother me with it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for dropping in to LAWN TEA!! And it WAS goofy and crazy and frustrating, and magically calm and wonderful somehow. Some of everything.
Hope you wore your comfortablest shoes!

I stopped going to the Mall years ago....on line shopping mostly or our historic downtown! I would be just like you.....enough! Here's to the Christmas season!!!!
ReplyDeleteI chuckled throughout! Are you sure that this mild weather can't last? I am loving it, too. You look so cute standing there waiting and waiting. Go with those gals whenever they want to take you away. Next time, do tuck in a novel.
ReplyDeleteI don't like shopping with my kids either :) It is the worst. Then when it is just me, I tend to shop for myself... like here is a present for my husband that is really for me. Not really what the season is all about.
ReplyDeleteI dont like it either!!! Online shopping is very easy and i like that. I love to get mail anyway and it comes right to your door!
ReplyDeleteNot my thing either! I reckon I have to make one gift shopping trip, not looking forward to it! Hope that you survived!! xx
ReplyDeleteSome of the malls installed comfy furniture for those times of waiting. I hoped to get out today, but that trip has been delayed until tomorrow. I'd better get a good night's sleep!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes shopping is a drag....especially with all the crowds this time of year. I have discovered that if I go when the football game is on, the stores are empty :) x K
ReplyDeleteI really do understand you. Sometimes shopping is the most horrible thing in the world. Even if it is fun, it makes you really exhausted!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post! :-) It was 82 degrees, by the way, yesterday when we returned home! But I nearly froze to death the first night we were in Dewey when we went to get a steak dinner to celebrate Kay's birthday late. It was 20 degrees and all I'd brought was a fleece jacket! DUHHH! :-) Getting back two days later than originally intended, I now have two days to finish the wall hangings to mail to Oregon!
