ReplyDeleteI don't get to see blue jays in my area...a very special treat this fine day!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the D. C. Monument also. It's such a great city.
Thank you, kindly, Lantane, for stopping by I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend to add this post to the linking tool. It's always appreciated by us birders and nature lovers!!
Great shots of that heron...and the bluejay too! I am missing bird watching. My hawks didn't return this summer to the back yard (just a couple of quick visits) and I see the same birds I have seen every day for the last five years, feeding in the yard. Getting out is such a difficulty right now, and frankly in my mind I've already "moved on." I guess that's the be expected. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures of the Ble Heron, such a graceful bird.
ReplyDeleteGreat place to have a picnic!
Have a wonderful new week :)
Very cool heron! And I like the state park photo a lot.
