At The Beach

It's Sunday and time for another sketch/work of art. Not all of mine I am happy with, but I learn every time I do a piece. So, that's a good thing. Linking with Sketches

    I hope you are happy with this one because you can practically hear the waves.

    I have a photo of my son on his first visit to the shore that looks so much like this. He stood watching the waves for a while, and then decided the outdoor shower at the top of the stairs was all the water he needed.

    Oh, Latane! What a perfect capture of such a sweet moment---that contemplation in the stance, the innocent vulnerability of his little shoulders, and all the promise in that level gaze from beneath the blue hat. Perfect.
