Today is the first day of 2017.
I wish all of you a very Happy New Year.
I got a large wooden box filled with art supplies for Christmas. Since I left home right after Christmas to visit my son in Alabama, the box went with me.....
Here's an oil pastel and colored pencil I did of a couple roses. Just getting used to the oil pastels, so you could call this a 'trial run'.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! I think you will really enjoy these oil pastels. You seem to have hit the mark with them. Glad Bama won. :-) Glad you are with Michael, and I hope you two have a wonderful time as this new year begins...you have two birthday presents on the way. They should arrive on the 4th. I kind've short-changed you a bit at Christmas & wanted to make sure you had a couple of good things for your birthday (although I do hope you can use the can opener!) Love you very much! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! Wishing you a very healthy and exciting 2017 Latane!
