Yellow Pollen Woes

I feel so stuck in the house!!

I feel like someone ground up the 'yellow brick road' and just sprayed it all over the place.

But, that too shall pass.

And, then I can get outside and enjoy myself.

In the meantime, here are some pictures I have taken in the past of the out of doors. Hope you enjoy them.

I am linking to Outdoor Wednesday. and on Thursday My Town Shootout

I love the see the sun shining through the pine trees across the parking lot at my apartment.
Right now those pine trees are covered with those little 'wormy' things that has that awful yellow pollen.

These sweet little yellow flowers are blooming in the rocks at the pond's edge.

Here I am getting a close-up of some blossoms on a field of mustard greens.

This tree is in full bloom in the courtyard here at the apartments.

Two of my great-grands exploring the walking trail at the apartment complex.

Plenty to see, plenty to do.... and as soon as that pollen stops shedding, I can go outside again!

  5. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
Those "wormy things" that leave all the yucky pollen have covered the paths where we walk in the mornings. The rain has kept them from doing much floating around but they sure are ugly!

  6. Spring has surely sprung hasn't it?? I love this time of year. I don't like the messy nasty yellow yucky pollen tho....it was at it's heaviest a couple of weeks back here....there are still a few traces but not too bad. We had a big thunderstorm last night and it washed things very clean for awhile and today nice cooler breezes. I love the picture of you out in the field with the mustard greens!!!

  8. I am with you on the misery of pollen, Latane. Fortunately, we do not have any here yet in Nashua, NH. That said, I know we will be experiencing it soon enough when we travel to the VA eastern shore to check on our (still unsold) home.
