Where Did Spring Go?

Where did Spring go? It seems to have gone from sweater weather to lickety-splitting hot!  It was 94 degrees as I drove home from town today at 2.

It makes me want to sit on a rock and let the water fall splash mist on my face.

Or watch water rise from a fountain

Higher and higher. It looks cool.

Better still, go wading along the shore, the waves hitting my legs, washing away the heat.

Maybe take a dip in one of those fountains. That might get me in trouble.

And, summer isn't even here yet. Oh dear.

  1. Lovely post! I'm sorry it's so hot there. It was 51 degrees when we left the house yesterday and by the time we were done at my sleep study consult, it was plunging to 39! We nearly froze! :-)

  3. I hear you! We're going from cool rainy weather to intense days of heat and sun. What happenend to gradual weather changes? Guess that's just not how the weather works. And, just when we're used to the heat, back we go into chilly, rainy weather for another week.

  8. Too hot too soon ... but the fountains are just lovely and cooling to look at. It's in the 90s here too, but this is SW Florida and it is supposed to be that hot here. I loved your poppy water color in the post above too!
