An Alabama Barn

Do you ever drive through the countryside and pause to observe barns along the way? There is just something about barns!! I remember my grandpa's barn. I remember playing in the loft where scratchy hay was stored and in the hallway running the length of it, then jumping up on the swinging gate that led to the pasture beyond. Seeing them now brings back lots of great memories. Tom has a great meme Barn Collective which I am linking to today. That way I can see lots of barns!

My son took me for a drive near his home in north Alabama. He wanted to show me this awesome barn. I agree, it's pretty awesome.

  1. Oh you've been decorating! Looks great! Yes, that is a wonderful barn...kind of interesting in that it is wide open to the weather...does this mean that it is empty and no longer used? Looks to be in good shape otherwise.
