Daylight Savings Time

I have a question to ask all of you.

How many of you would be happy if they abolished DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time?

Me, personally, I wish they would do away with it. It's stupid. Sorry, but that's my opinion. It messes up my clock and I am not talking about the clock that goes 'tick-tock' but my brain clock, my body clock, the thing that I live by.

However, we are stuck with it so

  1. I agree abolish it. My internal clock is wired the way it's suppose to me.

  2. I am not a fan of daylight savings time either. Wish they would abolish it.

  3. Me too, no need for it. It not only messes up my inner clock, but all the pets get squirrely an hour earlier now when they think it's time for a walk or a meal! I know people with farm animals are peeved about that too.

  4. It no longer serves any purpose to be fooling with the time twice a year. An act of congress needed to abolish it? Good luck with that!

  5. I didn't miss it for those five years we were in Tucson, that's for sure! It just made it harder to be three hours difference instead of two part of the year from most of the rest of you! :-) This morning I woke up at 3 am....my body thought it was 4. There was no going back to sleep! :-( needless to say, I got a nap at 10 am that lasted till 1!

  6. I am with you on wishing it had never been started...in the spring it is terrible because young kids need to go to bed long before dark...then comes winter and it changes back, and that then makes the day seem so long to them. The part of Indiana I live in did not observe it for a long time...just started 10-12 years ago.
