Duck Time

                                          Today is Wild Bird Wednesday
A Muscovy Duck. I assume that they are domesticated.

These are probably domesticated, too but I am not positive. Anyone have any info?

  1. Great photos!
We see a lot of Muscovy and other domesticated ducks at the parks here. Those others that you are not sure about are probably Mallard hybrids. Mallards breed with other duck species so much that in some places the native ducks are threatened.
Don't forget to add your link over at the Wild Bird Wednesday site.
Hope you are having a great week!

  3. We've had a lot of ducks around lately, because of the flooding that has been going on in our town. But I'm not very good at identifying what kind they are.
