Pretty Bluejay

I don't see many bluejays. These were in my son's yard in Alabama. I think the coloration on these birds is so fascinating. That dark collar around his neck, the 'evil' look around his eye, the various shades of dark and light blue mixed with white on his wings and tail. He's pretty but he can be a bugger when he choses. I'd hate to come in contact with that strong beak of his!!  Linking with Wild Bird Wednesday

  2. Beautiful shots! Loved the final shot with the red and blue. Two birds I always love to see, I guess because we were raised in areas where they are so common.

  3. You captured these. I see lots of blue jays here. Though I'm on the 11th floor I can hear the jays and when I look over the bannister they are flying to and from a feeder below me on the 1st floor. Their pretty color makes up for their raucous behavior.

  4. They are beautiful birds. They are a little on the noisy side sometimes, but fun to watch. Nice shots!
