Don't you just love sweet, red cherries? I was at my daughters in NY when I snapped this photo.
I was just beginning to do watercolors again after many, many years absence so I did the bowl of cherries.
Back home, I bought some cherries of my own to enjoy. No watercolor this time. But, I should have!

ReplyDeleteOh I had to pop over and comment when I saw you had posted and joined in! Love cherries too! Great pictures of these scrumptious delights, and I love the watercolor too.
ReplyDeleteGood work! I have not had time for sketching. Those weeds grew while we were away!!! cheers
ReplyDeleteJust saw cherries at a local supermarket, Latane, so reading this post made me regret that I did not buy any! Your watercolor will last longer than the real cherries so you will always enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteYummy!

ReplyDeleteSo lovely, and your watercolour is delightful!
ReplyDeleteI love cherries but they are so expensive here. When we used to drive through northern California and Oregon I liked stopping by roadside booths selling fresh picked cherries. - Margy
