Breakfast Fives

It's early this morning...

And, I am hungry!!

I am just thinking back on some really great breakfasts I have had recently and wishing somebody, besides me, would go fix me some.

1. I about fainted when I got this breakfast order. And, just in case you are wondering, I could not finish it all!! But, such yummy food. Love that southern gravy and biscuit combination!

2. This is really what I should eat... Very healthy, avocado and salsa on my eggs, and a salad.

3. On a cold winter day there is nothing better than hot chocolate. But, I didn't wait for the cold weather! It's good anytime.

4. I always eat my eggs scrambled. How do you like yours?

5. Fruit is good anytime of the day.

I think I will go check to see if anyone has fixed my breakfast.
Oh, heck... I forgot
I live alone!
Ho, ho, it's off to the kitchen I go.

  1. Those breakfasts look delicious. I am about to go fix myself a poached egg, which I probably like best, though scrambled eggs are great, too.

  2. Good morning!
If I cook my own eggs, I like them fried, over well. But if I order breakfast in a restaurant, scrambled with cheese!
Your hot chocolate reminds me - I need to make up some of my hot choc-coffee mix that I sometimes give as Christmas gifts.

    1/2 cup instant coffee
    1/2 cup sugar
1 cup powdered milk or powdered creamer (I use creamer)
    2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Mix it all together. To give as a gift, put mixture into a glass jar and add a ribbon.
Use one tablespoon (or more) per cup of hot water.
    Stir and enjoy!

NOTE: Some powdered creamers may have added sugar. If so, you may have to adjust amount of sugar

  3. Latana, There are times when I wish I could ring a bell and someone bring exactly what I want. LOL. We like to dream right? I do not eat big meals...wish I could convince my Teddy to share one big meal. LOL Blessings to you hope your weekend is fun, xoxo, Susie

This morning's breakfast was Cheerios with Chocolate Boost (instead of milk) and a peach

  7. Awesome looking food! I crave fruit sometimes, but those big bad breakfasts are sometimes such a treat! :-) Your portion of that one looks like a place in Bend called Lukes...you literally cannot finish, the portions are so huge!

  8. Now you are making me hungry. I just had a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast. - I like my eggs scrambled, hard boiled and once in awhile over easy so I can break the runny yolk over my hashbrowns. - The fruit looked so yummy. - Oh and yes that first plate of food was huge.

  9. Drat I read this post and now will have to go and start dinner, but then eggs are great for dinner so maybe scrambled eggs are on the menu tonight as that's how I like mine too, Latane. All the years we lived in the south and I never once tried biscuits and gravy and truth be known never wanted to. Did you enjoy yours?
