No pictures today... I am enjoying the stay at my daughters house in NY. We've had snow and rain and sunshine and cold, cold, cold. We went to the movies and saw 'Hugo' and then watched a movie at home 'Midnight in Paris'. There seems to be a Paris theme to my visit. It brings back memories of the times my daughter and I went to Paris many moons ago. Ah, those were the days!!
Last night we ate in a little French restaurant which was divine. Then we came home and found 'An American In Paris' playing on one of the movie channels. Gene Kelly was one of Susan's favorites from when she was very young and of course, there were scenes of Paris that we recognized. The little cafes, the Place de Concorde, the bridges, the Seine. I do love Paris. Wish I could go back.... sorry, but I am just reminiscing this morning.
Just wanted to let you know I had not forgotten you all. Looking forward to more fun times here and when I get back to my own computer.... I'll have pictures!!
Don't get too cold!!! Can't wait to see pictures of the visit! And hear more about it! You ought to do a Paris Remembered post, by the way! Glad you saw the Quilt Show pictures (all of them) on my piece-fulness blog. We'll have to get on the phone and discuss the different favorites we have! :-) They were so wonderful!

ReplyDelete...and I thought you were just going to New York, ha! ha!
ReplyDeleteThe real Paris is awesome but going via film, food, and memories is great fun too. I loved Midnight in Paris.
Stay warm and enjoy your time with your family dear.

Well, there must be "something" about Paris for you to get all those reminders! Synchronicity!
