Fences.........

Even though, in my neck of the woods, people aren't very creative when they put up a fence, I have decided to join Friday Fences, a meme where people post fences from different part of the world. Let me tell you, there are creative people and some of the fences show it. You just ought to click on my link Friday Fences and take a look for yourself.

I grew up on a farm.. wasn't much farming going on but the old barbed wire fence was still in place.

After our years in the Navy Elbert and I moved to... yep, you guessed it... a farm. He bought cows and up went a barbed wire fence. To a lot of people, fences are only to keep critters inside and not out. Not very attractive, but very effective.

Now for something much more attractive.

  1. I grew up in the country and am used to barbed wire fences, too. I do love a home with a white fence and this arbor is beautiful.
    Hope you enjoy the weekend.
