Beautiful Outdoors

Good Morning,
Tuesday, it is!! And a great one at that. Hope everyone is happy today and well.

I want to send my prayers to the families who lost loved ones and those injured in yesterdays bombing at the Boston Marathon. Sad time for the U. S.

I have a bunch of barn pictures in my archives. Hard to chose which one to use.... Guess I will do this one for Barn Charm today.

This one is found on Hwy. 32 in North Carolina
It's great to be outdoors so I can't just stop with the barn... here are some other good things I wanted to share.
This tree looks like it is covered in snow. It's in the parking lot of Hardees where Shirley & I have our Monday morning biscuit.

My friend, Leslie, standing in front of a pink tree in his yard

I'd never seen cows like these before! I found out that they are Belted Galloways, which were developed in the 16th century in Galloway District Scotland. They are supposed to have excellent beef.

Besides Barn Charm, this week I am linking to Garden Tuesday - Outdoor Wednesday -

  8. Nice chippy red barn, and what pretty blooms. I love the way those cows look, I pass by a farm that has them out quite often - it's good to know what they're called - we just call them the oreo cows :-)

  13. I like seeing the "beef cattle". As far as I know I have not seen them up here in NY where we live. But I don't get out too much lately! (giggle) I know our local farmers do not have them just maybe the ones that raise beef cattle.Great pictures, Latane.
