Blossoms Galore

We had a frost scare last night! What the dickens was that? But, we escaped the bad stuff and I was more than happy 'cause I should have gone out and cut a bouquet from my rose bushes and I didn't and then I was worried that they would be all brown this morning.

As you can see, they survived beautifully. Now, if I could just get them to bloom like that all summer but the heat takes it's toll. So, I enjoy now while the weather is cooler. How is your yard doing?

  2. Lovely roses. I have only one rose - a knock out in red. It has buds. Irises are just starting to bloom here. I need to take some more photos.

  6. Oh Boy! They are beauties!!! I really love the yellow ones. We used to have a whole garden of roses but it got to be too much to take care of. Roses are so gorgeous, aren't they? No frost here last night! Our lilacs are in full bloom and the peonies are budding here. My double crabapples are blooming today. I love the flowers this time of year.

    Hope all is well, Latane.
