The Farmer's Market

Nothing like going to the Farmer's market.

Fresh veggies, yum, yum... home grown. At the Smithfield Farmer's Market they have all sorts of things. Oh yes.. veggies but much, much more. It's almost like going to a town carnival without the rides. Hey, perhaps I can talk them into putting one or two of those in.

So, my grandson, Chris, and I mosey over to check out the goings on last Saturday morning. Had a good reason. Chris' mom (my daughter, Shirley) had her first Shirley Anne's Bake Shop booth there.

Me and Chris were just being neighborly, you know, but we really were spying.... hehe.

Things were going well for her and hubby John so after hanging around there a few minutes Chris and I went to check out the other stuff.

Lots of people, lots of booths, live music, food to eat. You can't beat that with a stick!!

Check out your own farmer's market. You will love it.

  1. What a neat Farmer's Market. We have a small one here every Wednesday --but it's not nearly as big as yours. Hope your daughter's booth did well...

  3. The Meet Me At The Farmer's Market sign is just too precious! Katie Daisy, the artist, is one of my favorites!
